Still, the fight scenes are pretty exciting and the soundtrack adds some fun energy. Julianne Moore makes for a poor villain, and Jeff Bridges, Channing Tatum, and Halle Berry are relegated to glorified cameos. And its attempts to recreate beats from the first film come off as lazy.
